really glad that our prayer buddy session is taking off this sem.. hope everyone had a good break.. really thankful for this much needed break..

i'm slowing recovering fr a slight depression spell.. dun noe wat's wrong with me, am always feeling down and "anti-social" these couple of weeks.. but yah, feeling a little better now..

Serene, thank you for sharing this two verses:
" Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God, and find peace of God, which trancends all undertanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 6-7

hope the both of u have bidded successfully for ur mods .. i've just checked, got the 2 mods i bidded for in round 2A.. haha.. taking 5.. 3 cores, IT1001 and ES2007S.

anyway, we should come out with a timing soon to meet up for our prayer-buddy session.. hee.. preferably we can try to make it for the same cg this sem too..

Since i dun have a blog.. i'm using this to vent my feelings!
i think i've portray a very gossipy image to many ppl.. i hate to think tt i'm the sort who gossips a lot.. but i guess i am, since many ppl have mentioned it.. sigh.. but when the image of me being "gossipy" also relates me as being someone who is unreliable n "untrustable", i just cant help but feel very very very upset..

I choose to stand by myself! I'm a reliable person!!! U can trust me!!!

I read your posts!!! Thanks so much.. I will rest well.. Less things on this July already. So, it feels better. Just have to meet a whole bunch of pple so i'm busy with that.. trip's coming, so i'm quite excited! will see u guys at the meeting immediately after the trip! =)

Have seen u talked to the freshies during foc.. i think u can socialise if u want to.. guess why the both of us were feeling down during foc cld be because we were slow to warm up? maybe the both of us just have to open up more.. guess we can improve by tt.. but how? i dun really know, takes time n EFFORT.. jiayou!
and how u worry about ya grp's freshies during foc.. i wld like to affirm you, u did well as a senior la!

And Jaime! u arh, always so bz! Pls rest ok.. and rest well!!

I guess all 3 of us have to seriouslyseriously start to think of how we wanna carry on our service in CSS..

Hey gals...

Haha... it's like 20 days after the next post... but well all of are bus, either with something or just busy resting (that's me i guess..).

In response to Nat's post... well.. i think everyone are like that one way or another. If get to choose, i think most ppl will just stick to their close friends and stuff... but i guess there are times when one is "force" to socialize with others. Honestly, i dun really mind socializing & making more friends.. but the other party must reciprocate... as in he/she must also try to engage in the conversation.... I really can't stand one word answers...........

And Nat, i honestly think that u are not as unsociable as u think u are.... i do see u talk & engage in conversation with many other ppl. I think i'm worse than u in this area... honestly.

Haha.. just read ur post..
we should keep this gg man.. ha..
Meeting was long man.. as usual.. but guess things have to be done.. so packed!
just like to share some stuffs.. hee.. haven had the chance to since retreat..
Was talking to someone, and she was mentioning something that struck me somehow..
No matter how we try to perfect stuffs, i guess there will be still be that something that just dun go the way we want it to be..
esp when it comes to human relationships.. how ppl feel about one other.. comfortable or awkward.. guess how much i try to open up to some ppl.. i just cant.. someone also mentioned that i always restrict myself in the comfort zone.. i think that's rather true.. this really make me think too.. i think i have to admit i'm rather "clingish".. i just like to stay in my comfort zone.. i always do admin stuffs.. i always choose to sit nx to serene, jaime, or boss during retreat sessions.. i dont like to initiate conversations with someone i dun really noe.. guess all these somehow reflects my self esteem i guess..
guess i'm just not as confident of myself as i expect myself to be..
Pls pray that i will continue to pray well too..
I'll pray for all 3 of us to have the confidence to accept new challenges in life..

hey, how's exams? finally over ya... if not i dun think u'll read the blog... :P

Anyway, juz wanna say that the exams are finally over... We all managed through with God's grace...! Now, new challenges lay ahead during the hols, part-time work, planning for camps/retreat etc... which we can definately "breeze" thru... (with prayers of cos)!

Let's all pray that we'll be able to lead a fruitful hols, with no regrets!

Hmm.. I just wanted to share about something. I know Jesus died for us and all that but I have forgotten how that makes me feel. Today I came across a passage (don't know if you all read before) , it goes something like that:

There was a crucial communication line broken during a war (I think one of the world wars). There was only one signaller left and he went back to fix the line. A few minutes later, communications was up again. After an hour, he had not returned. They sent out a search party to look for him. They found him on the ground, with the wires connected in his hands and shell wound at his heart, from which he had bled to death. He died, so that the others may live.

I guess I could identify with such a scenario better and felt Christ's love for us. Just a thought..

He died for us. We live for him...

When you're feeling down or think there's no plausible way out of a situation, just sing or hum "God will make a way".. This song always makes me feel better after I sing it. Maybe u all can try it too!

just came back from dinner after mass.. was trying to plan my weekend mentally while on my way home just now.. so much to do.. really hope to persevere on strongly..

Tutoring my cousin now.. I really need more patience.. decided to give him an hour or so paper to do this week.. have no strength to coach him today, decided it wld be better if i left him alone to do tt paper now.. this is the best way i guess, since i can feel myself losing it from the start..

Have been feeling rather down these few days.. hope it's just a passing mood..

okie, Have a prayerful week ahead..
ps: i have another lenten resolution, to say the whole rosary every night.. not easy since the week will be rather hectic, but i'll try to keep to it..

Thanks for hearing me out today! Anyway, as I've mentioned, Lent has become very meaningful to me this year. After much conteplation (and I must say, hesitation) I decided to give up movies for 40 Days!!!! Hope I survive. Haha..I also have a long checklist of spiritual stuff to remember to do. I collected that list after reading some reflections which had a great impact on me!

Lent sacrifices are difficult! Pray for our perseverance in self-denial.. =)

Hey, it's Ash Wednesday today, the start of lent... suddenly daunt onto me that i've not decided what i'm gg to fast for lent....

Honestly, i've not truly experience Lent the way Catholic should have, to me it seemed like a another 40days of my life.. pray tat this yr would be different, and that i can experience the true meaning of Lent....

I'll like to share an experience of mine too.. It was after the A levels period, and i felt very insecured.. i felt that i wld do really badly for the exam.. Didnt really did well for my prelims, and felt history would repeat itselfs.. My sis and i decided to go for nine consecutive weeks of novena to ask for our Mother's intercession.. we went religiously and prayer hard.. I was really shocked when i saw my results.. it was beyond expectatns.. i thank the Lord for answering my prayers and guiding me to where i am today..
I'll like to add.. I guess i'm one of the many who wld turn to the Lord when in need, but will not offer my thanksgiving as religiously when my prayer is answered..
Pls pray that i'll be able to offer my thanksgivings faithfully ..

Hello! Thanks for setting this up Serene! And Nat for keeping this blog alive! Well, I'm flooded with projects. Please pray that we could all go through this semester without getting too stressed.

Anyway, I wanna praise God for keeping me calming me down during my competition. I was shooting really bad and I got very stressed and I stopped to pray. I was quite sad after my competition. I felt I did really badly.

However, when I checked my results, my friend kept telling me my results but I didn't believe her. I got a new personal best. Did really well which was rather impossible because I shot a lot of low scores today. Oh well. By the way, after I prayed, I immediately shot a 10pointer (which is full marks). Very happy. So this is my day's praise and thanksgiving to God. =)

Just came back from the badminton session.. was having lunch when i was pointed out to lead the prayer before meal.. i was totally scared cos the three ppl before me were really senior status ( jason tay, gerald n pius..u get wat i mean?).. I believe if i have greater faith, i wldnt feel the way i felt.
Pls pray that i'll be able to say spontaneous prayers more comfortably. This will help me in leading and also in fulfilling a better prayer life.

I'll continue to pray for u two :)

Hey gals,
We havent been meeting up to pray for the past sem... hope that this blog can be a gd start... Well, for today pls pray for me... pray that i'll have more patience esp during tuition.... got kinda frustrated with my tuition kid today.... Sigh... He couldnt quite understand present/past perfect tense and continuous tense despite times of explanation so got a little "pek chek"! I guess Nat also had this prob rite? haha... well let's prayer for each other then! =)

I guess that's it for now, still cant quite get to "typing" my feelings out... so ya this is it...
